Attention please! La Carbonara will be closed from the 3rd to 31th August 2010 for Summer holidays

It is worth quoting some opinions:

Gambero rosso
his restaurant over-looking Campo de' Fiori is an obvious destination to tourists and Romans, also because it is one of the few large outdoor restaurants in the centre where it is possible to enjoy authentic Roman cooking, cooked with high-quality ingredients: penne alla carbonara, spaghetti with cockles, rigatoni alla amatriciana, broccoli and arzilla soup, sweetbreads, fried artichokes and brain, roasted lamb with potatoes, fried zucchini's flowers or artichokes alla giudia, puntarelle in anchovy sauce and last fish cooked in many ways or a mixed fry...
Evaluation: 70

Routard
A large restaurant, having country style rooms, the ones at the first floor allow you to appreciate during your meal the square's life. You can enjoy your meals on the terrace. Marvelous taglioni, spaghetti and bucatini. All meals are surely first quality...

Welcome
La Carbonara, one of the most traditional restaurants: typical Roman cooking.

TimeOut
It appears at distance on the short side of the folkloristic Campo de' Fiori square in Rome, destination of tourists and Romans. excellent typical Roman cooking is the peculiarity of this renowned restaurant: fried brain and artichokes are recommended. Dessert and wine list are delightful.

C'è stato un gran silenzio ggiù a Ssan Pietro
Quanno Felici ha detto: "Ce l'avèmo!"
Indove? Mille facce a muso tetro
Oggnuna a ddì: "Me voi pià pe scemo?".
